Review: In The Beginning by London Miller - EXCELLENT READ!

Twenty-year-old Lauren Thompson left her small town in Michigan to begin a new life in the Big Apple where no one knows her name or the tragedy that had rocked her family fifteen years prior. With new friends and an intriguing new love interest, starting over is easier than she expected...but Mishca Volkov isn't what he seems. As the son of a Russian Mob boss, he thrives in a world of chaos and fear, earning the title of Bratva Captain through blood and pain.

When the two cross paths, lines blur and passions ignite, bringing them closer than they could ever imagine. Until secrets from the past threaten to tear them apart. Can they fight past their demons...or were they doomed by fate before they ever met.

**Book Two: Until the End Coming Spring 2014**

We start off getting to know Lauren a bit.. She's coming to a time in her life where she is separating from her mother after her mother keeping her safe and close for her whole life after her father's untimely death. She meets Mischa (hot name, right? Yea, hot guy too) by spilling coffee on him. From then they slowly build this friendship/relationship. Mischa is incredibly hot (did I mention that) and patient. He has this soft side for Lauren, but is don't doubt that he is every bit the bad ass to be a Captain in the Russian Mob. *Sigh* But a true gentleman all at the same time. I came to love their relationship and everything about their story. I can NOT wait for the next book!!!
Over all, 4.5 pens for a VERY good story with a unique plot line and characters. The biggest down side to me was the editing.. there were quite a few typos that I found to be distracting and things like a dress changing colors but perfect otherwise!

I'm not all that interesting, just to be honest, but I try to create interesting characters. My debut novel, In the Beginning, was released in October and the sequel, Until the End, will be released early Spring 2014.
