Embracing My Submission (The Doms of Genesis Book 1)
Haunted for years by dreams of a savage, amber eyed Dominant with lips so enticing my soul ached in frustration and lust. None of the Dominants at Genesis, my local BDSM club ever stirred me in such blistering ways. While I tried to fill my submissive desires vicariously through interactions at the club, I attempted to convince myself it was enough. But it wasn’t. My dream Dom made certain I hungered for more.
Forced beyond what I could bear, my passion and frustration exploded. I threw in the towel, determined to stop chasing a dream and gave up completely on finding submissive surrender. But fate intervened when two gunshots split the night. Forced to confront my desires and insecurities, I was shocked to realize that my dreams may have held a deeper meaning. Were they compelling me to finally embrace my submission?

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I knew it was BDSM.. but so are SO many other books. This is a totally and unique, or rather more truthful, than most other books out there.
Julianna has been searching for her 'one', but after years in the BDSM community she hasn't even had a nibble of anyone interested, except her first (and bad) experience. She is lead and taught by a mentor (who is gay) but he isn't meeting all her needs. Thinking she has finally met the 'one' that will help her reach subspace and be the one she can please, she quickly ends up in an unexpected situation. And that's when the book gets interesting.
Once Mika enters the picture, I literally couldn't put down the book (not that I really could've before, but he was SO sexy and D-O-M *whew*). Mind you, he isn't the bang on my chest, you do what I tell you because I told you to kind of Dom. He is a true Dom. He has feelings and needs and desires that keep him from doing what he wants as well as giving into the woman that is driving him mad.
On top of all that, Julianna has had dreams that seem to be leading her to look for this mysterious man, who oddly looks exactly like Mika.
Oh, I could go on and on about this book, but there is so much I don't want to give away. I am greatly impressed with the BDSM aspect and the truthfulness behind it and the sensual side of it instead of just the pain.
The only down side to the story really to me was there were instances of over wordage.. things could be too descriptive and there were times I felt like a thesaurus was overused (and not correctly).
Naughty scenes were pretty hot, but then half of them were skipped and just said we did such and such, but I suppose a book filled with sex scenes would be a bit dull.
I look forward to seeing where this series is going.

Masters of My Desire (The Doms of Genesis Book 2)
Plowing into Bambi and totaling my SUV wasn't the way I envisioned starting my vacation. Then again, neither was being rescued by two gorgeous men. Nick Masters and Dylan Thomas swooped in to save me from the wreck. They weren't just knights in a shining truck, but Dominants so potent the submissive hidden inside me clawed to kneel at their feet.
To my surprise, they offered to teach me the joys of submission. I shoved down my fears and agreed to spend one glorious week of pleasure under their hand, at the center of their raw passion. With each command and touch, they bared my soul and stole my heart. With them, I felt like a beautiful—if kinky—Cinderella. But all too soon, the clock struck midnight, and I fled…
Returning to my lackluster life, I was determined to somehow survive without the masters of my desire. I never imagined they would travel a few hundred miles to hunt me down. Could I say yes when they offered to bestow something on me far more beautiful than a glass slipper?

I was excited to read about a menage relationship in the BDSM community, but this book fell a bit short for me. I felt like we got sucked into the mundane details of the characters lives that it ended up dragging on after the first 50%.
The first half was great. The beginning of their relationship and how it worked for them. Teaching Savannah submission and the 'lifestyle'. Once they brought her to Chicago, the story just wasn't as good to me.
Oddly there are words that aren't used correctly (or seem randomly picked out of a thesaurus) while other words are over used.
Overall not a bad book, but it was just missing that something special that made me want to never put it down even though I loved the characters.
I hope the next book is as capturing as the first book and the first half of this book.
Master of My Mind (The Doms of Genesis Book 3)
The Biggest Club Genesis Book Yet!
After the shocking death of my Master left me stunned, the revenge his ex-wife and daughter sought was almost as devastating. Seeking refuge at Club Genesis, my one safe haven, I returned to heal and get back on my own two feet.
But I soon learned that fate had other plans for Leagh Bennett.
Tony Delvaggio, the panty-melting sadist and resident shrink of Genesis, took me under his wing. Both frightened by his intensity and secretly thrilled by his unwavering attention, I tried to hide my past and barricade my soul from him. But Tony coaxed my thoughts with his deep voice and seduced my body with his rough hands. Before long, he pried open my heart as well. But when it became clear that someone meant to kill me, I came to a terrifying conclusion: I would have to put my complete trust and submission in the Master of my mind or die…

I really REALLY enjoyed this addition to The Doms of Genesis series. We get to see more of Tony *Swoon* and a whole new side of Leagh, that we didn't get to see in the other books.
Tony is a sadist and Leagh is a bratty sub, until everything changes. There is a lot that goes on in this story from the loss of Leagh's master to many hidden secrets that you can't even predict.
I did feel a bit let down cause I'd have really liked to see the Dom side of Tony more and the playroom is rarely used.. or only used when it's empty, so I feel like that's a whole unexplored area that is only used in passing. This would've been the couple to use it so I was sad that they only used it once and only one lonely time a whip was used when that was Tony's big thing.
Leagh really seemed to grow through the book for me. She went from being not submissive at all to finally understanding what it really means to be a submissive, especially for a strong Dom like Tony.
I loved that we get to see the shrink side of Tony though as it perfectly played into the plotline and helped them get through things that would've been more difficult.
I'll say again there were some randomly used words (as with both previous books) but I was more upset that there was this huge build up and talk about anal play and Tony loving it and then.... nothing. So that was a let down again.
Overall another great book. Can't wait to get to the next one!
Saving My Submission (The Doms of Genesis Book 4)
I never intended Joshua Lars, the sexy-as-sin sculptor to be more than a one-night stand. How was I to know his masterful hands and dominant command would wake the sleeping submissive within me?
Any of my friends would have said that Mellie Carson was an independent, successful woman who would never kneel for a man. I’d already chalked my one foray into surrendering my control up to naïve stupidity. I was far too smart now to do it again—or so I thought.
Then came Joshua… Determined to resist his powerful draw, I tried to forget him, but Fate—and a killer—had other plans. Now, in Joshua’s arms, I might be safe, but I fear my heart isn’t.
Can he save my life while saving my submission?

This was really a toss up for me on which couple was my favorite. I thought Book 1 was my favorite, but in swept Joshua and Mellie.
There is a lot of drama in this book, but it is so good and keeps you on your toes with unexpected turns that I couldn't put it down. I read this book in one day. I couldn't stop reading it. I had to know what happened and who was behind it all.
I will say I was a bit confused at first as to who was going to be the Dom in this story as we hadn't 'met' Joshua... Well we had but we know him as Master Steven. I have to say that I didn't expect to like his story as much as I really did.
I really liked the dimensions of Joshua. Mellie had issues with her submission, which seems to be a theme throughout this series, but the way it was approached was different than all the other ones.
One issue I did have is that all the characters seem to have a bit of the same personality and vocabulary. I'd never heard anyone called a 'fuck-nut' or 'fuck-knuckle' till this series and yet nearly every character uses those phrases. But I suppose I got used to that from the other books as I was only momentarily bothered by it.
I SOO can't wait for Ian & James story next!!!
